Timberwind is the creative outlet for Dane Franklin. The music is inspired by love and loss, insecurities and trauma, and getting back to the roots of who you are. 
As such, the name Timberwind came out of a need to set a new path: set the spark, kindle the flame and light the way. 
The music you’ll hear here is raw, emotional and void of perfection.
Artists that inspired Timberwind range from indie and folk artists old and new. From Leif Vollebekk, Bahamas, and Jason Collett to classics like Neil Young, Bob Dylan and the Band.
The first EP Seven (2020) was an amalgamation of songs from the last 7 years that encapsulates many themes and genres.
Look forward to the next EP that will bring back a classic singer/songwriter feel mixed with an Americana/Roots quality.
