Tales From The Dream Basket - The Dream Basket

This is the first set of my "tales from the shadows", tales tending to be a bit darker than the "tales from the dream basket", though that's just in my opinion. In this set there is "The Labyrinth", a tale about someone who has been in a labyrinth for as long as he can remember. The second story is called "Trapped", the story of a powerful sorcerer who has been trapped in a situation where he is constantly killed only to revive to face death again.... He's determined to escape this situation, but has no idea how.

The very short tale I tell here is one I wrote inspired by a painting of the surrealist artist Remedios Varo. She discovered surrealism sometime in the 1930s and met Benjamin Peret in 1936. They became lovers. Her paintings are among my favorites and frequently have to do with vehicles of one sort or another.
