Manchesters Connor McLeod, better known as Sl8r makes his solo V Recordings debut with his most accomplished body of work to date, the Temptation EP.

The EP has already garnered early support from Drum & Bass tastemakers such as Goldie and Bryan Gee and it's no surprise as to why. Whether a fan of floor-rattling, club focused tracks, laidback liquid soothers or old-school jungle influenced sonics, there's a track for everybody in this release.

Over the past year Connor has built up momentum with a string of incredibly strong and diverse releases with us, including a solo single on Chronic, and two collaborative releases on V Recordings with the likes of Alibi, Slay and Chimpo. In addition to this he's also released with labels such as Shogun Audio, Guidance, Fokuz, Delta9 Recordings and more, as well as playing a string of UK bookings.

Sl8r is without a doubt one of the names to watch over the next coming year, both his production quality and fan base seem to be growing with every single release and post.

Drum & bass heavyweights Serum, Voltage and Bladerunner, aka Kings Of The Rollers have entered the ring once again to deliver a 4-track smasher. Pushing the boundaries of D+B to the ropes, ‘The Main Event’ EP is a flawless infusion of each individual style, creating the perfect storm.

A certified knockout D+B banger with an epic introduction that has been doing damage in raves worldwide, ‘XXX’ kicks off the EP with intriguing synth plucks and a sweeping yet powerfully subtle bassline. Next up is the Circuits Rewire of ‘Burnt Ends’, a deeper take from Kasra & InsideInfo of the iconic tearout bruiser. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any darker, the latest rendition of the game-changing roller packs new punches with twisted melodies and a thumping bassline from these deep D+B standouts.

The elegant piano melodies and the angelic notes of Lydia Plain on ‘Somebody Else’ ease the listener into the second half of ‘The Main Event’. It’s not long before crunchy wobbles and singalong vocals take centre stage. Bubbly yet dark, you’ll certainly want to keep your guard up. Rounding off the EP is ‘Solar Heat’, nostalgic arpeggios rest upon trance inducing pads before modulated reeses and rolling drums kick in to deliver a finishing blow.

On top of cooking up layout anthems, Kings Of The Rollers are renowned for their high energy sets and innovative mixing styles. The trio have headlined an array of festivals and large scale shows across the globe, including their own Royal Rumble event series. ‘The Main Event’ EP was originally destined to accompany their biggest headline show to date at London’s legendary venue Printworks. Sadly due to the 2020 COVID-19 crisis, this event was postponed, but you won’t catch these guys throwing in the towel. They’ll be back with a vengeance, so make sure to keep an eye out for what these three D+B royals have in store…

Hello, I am Moon Born Unicorn, an experimental drum and bass producer and DJ. If you like drum and bass your in the right place! With more practice my music will only get better! All my music is free, you can download it, feature it on a mix or playlist, go ahead! I make one repost a day and they are all extremely good! DJ MBUC is my DJ name, Moon Born Unicorn is my producer name. I live in a place where dnb is still underground. In fact I didn't discover it until I was in my mid 20's. Sure I had heard it before here and there, but I had never felt it. Not until listing to an essential mix by High Contrast from 2007 while in the right state of mind.  I remember that moment when I got hooked in the summer of 2014 and I have never looked back. I spent the next several years going deeper down the dnb rabbit hole until eventually I decided to start making it. This would have been around the spring of 2019.  Unfortunately my 2007 MacBook had died on me about a year earlier.  This lead me to making dnb beats on my iPhone, and they weren't bad, much of my music on Soundcloud  was made on that iPhone. Doing this motivated me to to get a computer geared towards music production and start taking myself seriously.
