This piece was written for another moment for the Call of She performance, which in technicality is part 3.  Through incredible generosity, I was given permission by Mr. Xavier Quijas Yxayotl to use parts of a seminar he had given on the Aztec Death Whistle which can be found on Youtube.  This instrument is so profound and beautiful I just had to try and capture some of it's essence in a piece of my music.  Thanks to Mr Yxayotl and all that he does to enlighten the world to the ancient peoples of the Aztec and Native American lore.  He is also very involved in the support of Standing Rock, please show support in stopping the pipeline in one of the most sacred of native american lands, the Hunkpapa Lakota and Yanktonai Dakota Native American reservation in North Dakota and South Dakota.
