'Dead in the Water' is my sonic representation of drowning and is the first composition in a series that I am working on titled 'Death'. In this series, my aim is to delve into the various ways humans can die and bring out the emotion attached to each. While quite macabre, I hope you enjoy it.

'Sepia Sun' is a melancholy yet hopeful piece that was part of a portfolio I submitted for a composition assignment at University. I was instructed to incorporate 'Additive Rhythm' into a piece and my own aim was to create something using instruments from an Orchestra (Double Bass, Cello, Viola, Violin, Timpani, and a Gong). Sepia Sun

'A Character's Journey' was made as part of a portfolio for my composition degree at University. We were asked to create a theme utilising phrases and motifs. This led me to create something that was very different to my usual, melancholy style and seemed to evoke imagery of a main character in a game such as 'The Witcher'. The main melody played by a flute and the supporting harp really drive home that feel.

A Character's Journey

'Horror' is a theme inspired by all of the horror films that I love. A relatively simple piece but I enjoyed experimenting with a different genre once again to my usual melancholy style. To make the piece heavier, I used some distortion on the double bass instrument to bring home the low-end rumble.

Horror

'Let Me Die in Peace' is an experimentation in 'sound composition'. It was made for a Uni assignment where we were given different sound samples for the purpose of utilizing technology to create a unique composition. 

Synopsis - A man is trying to drown himself in the bathtub peacefully. However, the more he tries, the louder the sounds become outside the water. The man ends up becoming extremely grumpy, which saves his life as he storms out of the bath to find out why he can't die in peace.
