SHDW & Obscure Shape and their "Mutual Rytm" imprint celebrating a first year anniversary with an outstanding 3 vinyls pack as their tenth release to date and the second instalment of their "Federation of Rytm" compilation series.

Being the buzzing German producers most prestigious project to date, their musical philosophy of "modern old school techno", has been backed up by some of their favorite artists out there, from a well established to new upcoming producers, all contributing their music to take part in one of the most highlighted releases of the new year. The compilation features 22 tracks: 18 cuts spread over 3 vinyls covered with the label's neat artwork signature, and 4 digital bonus tracks. This and more, sum the musical vision of the German duo, going between early hours to peak time anthems and in between previously known artists to the label and new appearances of new talents, all together, symbolised by different generations and areas of techno based music, backed up with the label head honchos SHDW & Obscure Shape's wide community following, marking the calendar for an exciting game changer release set for February 2023.

BCCO Premiere: Alarico - Speeding At Midnight 1 [KATANA001]

Techno/Hardtechno DJ/Producer/Remixer based in Duisburg/Germany

Born and raised on the mean streets of Duisburg, Alex Turner, AKA Alexander Henkelmann, started his musical journey when he was 15, when he was given a slap by his Cousin. It was at this moment that Alex Turner knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'.
He first became interested in the electronic music scene in 1994. Aged 15, he bought his first set of turntables. At the age of 17, he was already being touted as Duisburg's answer to Chris Liebing or Adam Beyer. The first gigs in clubs like the 'Cellar Club' in Oberhausen/Germany starts in 1997. There he was resident for the next years. It was in the millenium when he won a DJ Contest at 'TOR3' in Düsseldorf/Germany, the biggest Club Scene at this time with up to 2500 visitors. It was after this point when he started getting gigs at big events such as 'Union Rave' and several other clubs like 'Poison Club' Düsseldorf, 'Barmer Bahnhof' Wuppertal and others.
After a big break Alex Turner comes back as producer/remixer and joined SDL Recordings Germany, who helped distribute his first release, 'Deep Impact' in 2015 & several others on the important stores Worldwide.
Suffice to say, the Techno scene should be expecting big things from Alex Turner in the future.
