From The Van Meyers release "The Persistence of Now." This track is an ambient/electronic processing of  several outtakes of standard guitar, cello and drums that didn't make it onto the rest of the album.

The Persistence Of Now

I am a drummer/percussionist whose musical approach is characterized by experimentation, minimalism, and removing drums from the strictures of time-keeping to create color, texture and tonality as opposed to "beats." I also perform with experimental, free jazz/free improvisation musicians whose creative philosophies are to move beyond the boundaries of accepted music to include new visions and strategies, moving sonic expression into new and uncharted realms.
