Internets! It’s a new Life Gems on deck! In this episode, we’re diving deep into the topic of turning struggles into strengths. Life has a way of throwing challenges our way, but it’s how we navigate those hurdles that truly defines us.

To keep things simple we'll focus on these key topics:

🥇 Obstacles into Opportunity:
Life is filled with its fair share of ups and downs. There are times when it feels like we're stuck in this never-ending cycle of challenges and struggles but guess what? That struggle ain't all bad. It can truly be the making of you. I share my thoughts on making the best of bad times. 

🥈 A Breakthrough Moment: 
Back in the day, I was battling with a habit that had its claws deep in me: smoking. Man, it felt like those little sticks had a mind of their own, constantly pulling me in, telling me it was all good. I share my experiences of turning struggles into strengths when quitting smoking. 

🥉 Keep on Pushing:
A big part of turning struggles into strengths is accepting the ups and downs. Just like me quitting smoking. I might have tried to stop and went back to it. You can’t beat yourself up for that shit. Everybody fails at something, right? I know I have, and it’s all good! I talk about keeping on keeping on even when things go wrong.

Rachel Mintz has a unique vocal, writing and production style that varies wildly yet seamlessly between dream, art and baroque pop to dark alternative. Rachel grew up in Miami, FL with a musical family and performed in one of the world's best children's choirs as a featured soloist.
