Were Violetta Still Strutting

A cello duo I painstakingly spun out last year. It originally had lyrics -

There was a night some twenty years ago.
The moon was shinin' bright and all the stars moved slowly and,
As I looked into their older eyes,
Oh they said...

Never finished it from there, it just became these two wordless voices instead. Someone at a composition workshop told me that I should finish writing the lyrics and let them inform the last few touches on the story of this song even if I never actually use the words for anything.

Some Twenty Years Ago

Been playing cello for more than half my life now! I like performing a whole lot better than recording, but what can ya do.
