This instrumental is inspired by the sound of the 1980s. I kept the electric bass prominent in the mix, adding a chorus effect above 200Hz to enhance the string sound.

I used several tracks of a Stratocaster to create the main texture of the composition, incorporating arpeggios and strummed parts with chorus and delay effects.

The drums are programmed using the Downbeat Kit, available for the AKAI MPC here: https://www.mpc-samples.com/product.php/291/the-downbeat-kit/. The drum samples are organized in round-robin groups to give a more natural feel to the drum parts.
