Drumcomplex & Frank Sonic are joining forces for their upcoming single “Direct Dizko,” set for release on February 9th on Second State Audio. 

After Patrick Chardronnet's cover version of Jean-Michel Jarre's classic 'Oxygene Part II' Second State Audio revives another classic: “Direct Dizko” This is a masterful rework of the iconic track 'S.O. Project - Direct Dizko' a cornerstone in the techno genre that has left an indelible mark since its initial release in 1998. The original track, known for its electrifying melody and pulsating energy, was first introduced as part of Samuel Onervas' S.O. Project and has undergone various remixes over the years, including notable versions by Dub Foundation, T78, and Housequake. These adaptations have continually revived the track's spirit, showcasing its lasting influence in the techno scene. 

In their latest interpretation, Drumcomplex & Frank Sonic breathe new life into this classic. Retaining the original melody, they infuse it with a heightened sense of aggression and energy, delivering a sound that is both modern and meticulously crafted. The duo's version stands out with its stomping kick and groove, offering a fresh perspective on the beloved techno masterpiece.

"I’m excited to share this special mix, recorded during the amazing La Feria On Tour at Centro Parque in Santiago, this past February. It was the very first time I felt truly free to play techno in Chile, a genre at the core of my artistry, and I enjoyed the beautiful synergy I had with the crowd that night whose thirst for this special genre was on full display!
