I really miss the seventies
Political correctness, hyper-sensitive youth
Propaganda on my TV, masquerading as the truth
Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
anonymous trolls making people bitter
Oligarchies and theocracies
undermine democracies
Robotic drones kill from the skies
It’s easy to kill when you can’t see their eyes
I don’t know how to stop this madness
I don’t know how to end the sadness
But now, I think I understand…

Polished, corporate, streaming fluff

But, our planet is dying

I loved my life in the seventies
I just wish I could remember it more clearly
