Two years ago, I recorded a song that truly means the world to me. It’s taken so much energy and emotion to get it to where it is now, and I’m proud of how it’s turned out.

The recording has a raw, live feel to it, even though it’s not actually live—a touch I think makes it even more special. It’s also recorded in 432hz, a frequency often associated with healing, which feels fitting for the message behind the song.

This song is about feeling second best in life and struggling with the confidence we all deserve to have. It’s something I’ve felt deeply at times, and I know others might have too.

I’ve held off releasing this song for so long, partly because of the passing of my dad. Losing him made it hard to find the energy or motivation to put this out into the world. But now, I feel ready to share it—not just for me, but for anyone who has ever felt overlooked or doubted themselves.
