Growing up in Tunisia, I took a louage almost daily to school, lycée and later everywhere (mostly to get weed though). 
Chaotic and in rush hours lowkey panic inducing but what stayed with me most was the loud Raï which is the soundtrack of every ride.

After years in europe now, 
I do dream of taking a louage home, 
eating my mum’s food for lunch, 
chilling with my family and coming back in the evening with fresh olive oil (w/ ka3bet Celtia). 

I wish the distance wasn’t so heavy, 
I wish i could just stop a louage and go play with bolbol (my family dog) for couple of hours..

I produced this ep last summer as the only vent i had left as i was waiting almost a year for my legal papers. Raï (unironically) has been my companion for years now. 
So i chose some of my favourite songs and imagined the singers in the room with me. 
These imaginary collaborations became conversations in my head for days about: what does this all even mean and mostly where should i live.. 

I continue then to maladaptivaly daydream of taking a louage, 
sitting by the sea then going back to my bed… 
the louage always bringing me home (at least in my mind).
