Co-athlete
Driving from 
St. Louis to Denver
Rock Springs to Salt Lake
Ending the great continuous 
Day’s Drive spinning in Portland.
We would’ve created art with Gabriel
listen to him in life 
while fight the devil with Michael
& understanding Stairway To Heaven
was written above us.  
You can be The Lady 
& I’ll be white light.  

Or at least be the flesh
on the other end 
of these poems.
Seeing them 
as paper for a trash 
or a pink red paper lantern.
I have written you 
So many Poems
I don’t care how you take them
just the distance between us
Someday be close.

I must admit 
I made you up.
But to be honest
everyone I ever
met to thought
pretended in my head.
It’s quite fun
I hope everyone has done.
With a little involuntary help
I’m usually not to far off
some I do have to brush off.
So many adventures with ones sweet
So many jokes with ones mean
One or two for advice 
a lot more to bring peace.
So if you believe as I do
& to each other 
a little time given too
Than what good times
