Joris Voorn - A House Feat. Kid A (Deep Sea Fire Remix)

This is a song written and first recorded by the great Chris Maness. He was kind enough to share his badass bass line and song with me after I requested it. I kept hearing a David Gilmore solo on top of it. Not that I'm a faction of the player he is, but that was the feel I wanted for it. To Chris' bass and acoustic guitar, I added a couple if electric guitars, some slide, mandolin, banjo, and synth. I really enjoy collaborating with him because he always gives me such gems with which to work. I hope you like my version of his song. You can find the original on his page @cgmaness.

The Second song of 2023. Tonight I recorded something similar to my earlier long songs but this got a few catchy keyboard riffs.
Edgar Allan Poe has written the poem I use for lyrics. It is in the public domain and is called: Hymn to Aristogeiton and Harmodius

Echoing Songs

This psychedelic journey began with Tez sending me a guitar track for the cover of the Syd era Floyd song. I added some bass, organ, and lead guitar. Tez then added some organ of his own and some more guitar. Then, we sent it to our drummer friend Ken, who added the drums. Tez then mixed and produced this one for the final version. And a heroic job both he and Ken did, too. Neither mixing this nor adding drums to it could've been easy. My hat's off to them both.

The first part of the music is very relaxing and we wanted to let listeners imagine to be themselves lost in the universe. Next other instruments begin to play as if we had a great hope to go back home.
But this hope dissipates very fast and at the end of the music, we return to the immensity of the universe.
