As the second release of 2023 and already on its fourth edition, Fuga is back on Token. This compilation serves as a reflection of techno today while maintaining the cosmic, driving sound that has become Token’s signature over the years.

The intensity of the project is quickly lifted by Hemka’s ‘Bazaar’ for nearly six and a half minutes of barely contained, high-pressure club music. The cyclical rise of the background atmosphere and soundscapes make this a properly anxious piece.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

Here's mine "Soup Kitchen" written in a day during lockdown I thought it would be a nice track to introduce myself to the agency, and one which I feel has a playful attitude, just like the club itself. One of the first clubs I came to in Manchester and still it has such a warm feeling and amazing family of people who work there. Soup Kitchen x

While scientists are working on finding a cure for the COVID-19 virus, we, humans, can only spread love and support each other. Orchid-AM can only spread love through music and by uniting artists and clubs that are kept apart from each other at these difficult times.

We have asked producers and musicians represented by the agency to come up with some new music in one week, and then name it after a club they hold close to their heart. We have packed it all in a nine-tracks compilation released digitally via Bandcamp, in hope for a return to normality soon.

All sales will be equally shared between artists and clubs."
