A real desire in me, brings my ideas,
I acquire my thoughts, I’m inspired enough
To jot down my line on a black board with chalk

I found a guitar tune recorded some months back
It was bound to be started, soon made into a new track
As an artist I target to progress and to impress,
So I restart to assess the tune to work it to it’s best

I add a beat some bass and some melodies 
A bittersweet tune I make the extraordinary 
Legendary sound, very steadily compounds
And along comes Sean to switch on and write rhymes

Yo Mike Slim, are we in this till we win this?
This game of monopoly will catch you till you’re dry
It will have you passin boardwalks with your supply
Hopin fortunate cards will keep you from demise

Scribbling these words, wondering if they’ll be heard
Observing the absurd this shit is being transferred 
Free like a bird, like a final rebirth
Creativity’s occurred, of that you can be assured

But the process doesn’t happen quite in that way,
Scribbles fill the page we don’t do this for the wage

I probably sounds pretentious but this shit is just essential
Any artistic endeavor can have meaningful potential

We are the Selection Pioneers, a newcomer Hip Hop crew founded in Zürich. The two man team consists of Mike Slim (CH / USA) and Sly G (FR / USA). The debut album "Sounds from the Attic“, is planned to be released early 2018, and takes it's name from the studio where it was recorded, which is located in a private magic attic.
