PREMIERE – Radial Gaze & Kubebe – Phantom Limb (Thisbe Recordings)

The fifth installment of a subterranean warehouse series, reviving the raw energy of ‘90s raves, delivering dancefloor-driven electro.
Faith sees IDORU refine dark electro and EBM into a sleek, hypnotic form. Anchored by a corrosive bassline and stripped back percussion, the track balances restraint with intensity. Its fizzy vocal presence adds to a sense of allure—composed, commanding, and unmistakably nocturnal. This one’s a smoldering invocation for strobe-lit dance floors.

When Radial Gaze meets Nicola Kubebe, the result is Iron Pinky Toad, a title that sounds like a secret kung-fu move or a lost cartoon book. But don’t be fooled, this one hits hard.

The long-awaited collaboration brings three original tracks: Phantom Limb, Lights of Phoenix, and the title cut Iron Pinky Toad. They effortlessly blend slow-burning tribal techno with the raw pulse of new beat, all wrapped in an early techno shell. Imagine dancing barefoot in a ritual under a disco eclipse. You’re getting close.

To complete the record, Playground Records boss Martin Noise joins forces with rising sensation Anastasia Zems, taking the release into full-blown dancefloor sorcery. The groove runs deep, the bass is sweaty, and the toad… well, the toad is on fire.
