Captain Mustache is back with the third release on Mobilee from his Luz album, this time with Play Paul, the brother of Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo collaborating on one of the tracks, “The Pathetic”.

French producer Captain Mustache bridges electro, techno and wave influences. He has put out music on Permanent Vacation and Bedrock, while his last outing on Kompakt 'Everything' marked his biggest tune to date with top-tier DJ support and more than 300K plays. His upcoming album Luz is a deep dive into a wide array of influences from the 80s and 90s and finds him exploring new styles that work at home, away from the club, as well as on the dance floor.

The Pathetic is at the heart of the album and is a sleek, futuristic electro-techno sound with sultry indie vocals. Bright arps flash across the face of the tune as the drums surge on and the moody bass adds great weight.

Dancing Like Muffins keeps the pressure on with bright synth lines jangling above the well swung groove and some lush claps. Sparkling arps explode to bring more light and lift up to what is a majestic cosmic odyssey. Add in some vocoder vocals that bring a melancholic edge and you have a transcendent dance floor gem. 

These are two more irresistible tastes of Captain Mustache and his superb new album Luz.

The seventh installment of a subterranean warehouse series, reviving the raw energy of '90s raves, delivering dancefloor-driven electro.

On ‘Obelisk’, IDORU sculpts a ritual in motion—an electric hybrid of techno and indie dance where repetition becomes seduction. Anchored by a looping incantation—“all you got to do is move”—the track blurs language into rhythm, until ‘move’ becomes both heartbeat and hallucination. Obelisk’s minimal scaffolding and subtle shifts in texture hypnotically transform the dancefloor into swells of liquid current.

We're delighted to welcome back Amount, aka Nayan Soukie, to Darkroom Dubs as he returns with four subterranean throbbers that effervesce with trance-inducing lawlessness.

A Darkroom Dubs favourite who first debuted in 2013 as one-half of house-combo Soukie & Windish. Since then, he's flourished as a renowned producer, DJ, and seasoned live performer, developing a penchant for sleazy burners primed for the darkest of rooms and those hazy, sunrise-lit, after-hours moments.

This latest offering from the Berlin native, entitled Zeroton, is an essential addition to an already impressive back catalogue, with appearances on imprints such as Feines Tier, Running Back, Frank Music and his own URSL label.

Surging through the speaker with decisive aplomb, Heîk & soloiist leave their first mark with the titular "Slow Down", as meandering blips ricochet restlessly off a tight frame before a low-end pulse takes hold of the piece. Now, with ebbing pads swelling in full-blown technicolor across tantalizing arrangements, our creative duo deploys a scrumptious vocal lead and weighted chords that usher us into higher grounds, a crystalline place where emotions move to a different kind of beat.
