Peak is an arts organisation based in the Black Mountains that works creatively with professional artists and communities, responding to the rural environment.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of people in our local rural and post-industrial communities through meaningful participation in high quality arts and culture, accessible to all but particularly to those with least opportunity.

Our location lies within the Brecon Beacons National Park. We work across this protected landscape and the surrounding region of Mid and South-East Wales and the Welsh Borders. The organisation was established as a charity in 1992 under its original name, Arts Alive.

In the next 3 years, 2018-21, our over-arching goal is to increase opportunities for children and young people to engage with our activities across all strands of our Artistic Programme.
