B. Tendu für Ballett Class "Tea for Tow"(Arr. Yuko Moriya)

Yuko Moriya, who was born in Tokyo, completed her composition studies with a diploma at the State Academy for Music and Performing Arts Tokyo between 1990 and 1997. In 1992 she won the Young Composers Award at the composition contest of the Asian Composers League (ACL), and in 1997 a composition prize of the Japan Symphony Foundation was added to these achievements. From 1998 to 2000 Yuko Moriya extended her composition studies at the Arts University of Berlin with the help of a grant from the Japanese Ministry of Culture. As a composer she worked until now for the Sound Factory Co. Ltd. in Japan, the Nagomi Ensemble in Berlin. As a ballet pianist she was first engaged at the Tokyo State Opera in 1992, as from the 2013/14 season she joined the Ballet School of Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
