Rhythm pounds like a frantic heart, trapped in an invisible cage.
Each beat sounds like a distant siren, an echo that heralds a danger we cannot see but feel deep in our bones.
The ground is rumbling, as if earth itself still hesitates to carry us.

With this repetitive noise, we sight a broken country.
Its empty streets sound like the track's muffled, unsettling bass notes,
its scars overlap with the dark layers that keep coming back, like an endless loop.
A people survives there in constant doubt,
like silhouettes seeking light in an endless night.

The music doesn't move forward: it treads water, it traps you.
It's the image of a world caught in the trap of violence,
where each kick drum beat reminds you of the fear of the next moment.
And yet, at the heart of this mechanical chaos, one question remains:
if the sounds are determined to trap us, isn't it so that, sooner or later, silence will come to set us free?

“Humanity” explores the depths of a brutal and organic acidcore, made by deep, intense and corrosive acid lines. This track shows the tension of a declining world, an electronic shout against human decadence, the abusive obsession for power and the spiral of violence.
Between hammering rythms and hypnotic distorsions, it depicts a disillusioned humanity, where each frequency reflects the fall of a civilisation dancing on its own ashes.

“Humans are not the centre of the world.
Lost in the depths of the cosmos, they share an insignificant planet with millions of other species, all unique and fascinating, on which they depend entirely for their well-being and survival.
A speck of dust in this immensity, human beings do not seem so exceptional, and yet.
By following their own path, humans have mastered the elements, repelled their predators, fought hunger and disease to survive, then flourish and finally conquer.
They invented philosophy, art and science.
They developed altruism.
They imposed values, morals and ethics on themselves.
Gradually, they also invented trade, religion, politics, but also discrimination, hatred and torture.
They developed consumerism, the destruction of land and seas, the exploitation of other species, as well as their own.
Humans have succeeded in polluting the highest peaks in the world and the deepest oceans, the interior of species and the exterior of their planet.
Every minute, they give birth to 250 babies and produce 4,000 tonnes of waste.
Every day, they produce 240,000 cars and wipe out 400 living species.
Every year, he allows nearly 9 million children under the age of 5 to die and destroys 13 million hectares of forest.
Man seems to favour belief over knowledge, having over being, and the image of happiness over happiness itself.
He thinks he is the master of everything, but he does not control himself.
Humans are the only species to have developed the ability to destroy their own environment, without having developed the wisdom not to do so.
Humans, so precocious, are still immature, capable of both the best and the worst.
Will they reach the age of reason before burning down their own house?
This question is anything but insignificant.”

NOTE FROM THE ARTISTS : 

We decided to write a rough and emotional text to tell the story of a war child. We feel deeply concerned by this issue, because it relates to thousands of children around the world. We took the perspective of a child as he grows up (6yo, 7yo…) to explain the way he realizes what is happening around him over time. 
Concerning the instrumental, we chose something touching with an atmosphere that corresponds to the lyrics and the child’s mindset.
We used acid lines (we were not used to) because we love the way it can provide emotions through musical notes.

LYRICS :

I’m 6 years old
I’m running down the street laughing
I make paper boats in puddle
While the sky becomes dark under attacks
Mom tells me not to raise my head
She tells me that birds dress up like planes
I think the world is full of stars
And the thunder is just some common game, nothing special


I’m 7 years old
I did see the walls rumbling
Friends often move from a city to another
There is no more schools, only wind is left
Mom is singing so that I can’t hear
The screams, the cries, the noises, the fears
They call me soldier
But I don’t even know why


At 9 years old, my brother fell down outside
He kissed death
I didn’t cry but mom did
She crumbled
The sky is empty, walls are crazy
Even the wind is against us
I finally begin to see it 
What I was taught in history class


I don’t have friends nor house anymore
My 11th anniversary is way too dark
Mom tell me to hold on
That as long as she’s here, it’s ok
But her voice is shaking, I can hear that
Even her “I love you” seem bland
She would like to be painted in blue
But I can see that the sky is sick


Today I still run, but without her footsteps
She’s sleeping underground, just over there
Her smell is still on her scarf
The smell of bread and the smell of her tears
I look at the sky and there are no more stars
Only smokes that makes it darker
But I hear her say in the wind
Son, be strong, stay alive


That young man I’m talking about in this song
Is the voice of so many civilians
So many wasted childhood
In debris and waste
Their tears won’t extinguish fire
Made by this large game
It’s a mess in their family
And the famine is a shame


Who’s going to rebuild ?
Who’s going to give them something to cook ? 
It’s cool to inform the world
But it’s better to help them escape
War zones are not so full anymore
And their hands are chained
They are not inhabitants anymore
But fucking fighters
