Lately, I've listened a lot to obscure late '70s funk/prog records and of course sooner than later I started jamming my own tunes in that style.
This one's played live on a Korg Kross 2 keyboard and an expression pedal using a customised combi patch with two arpeggiators and a drum track.

I got my hands on a 1985 Yamaha DX100 which inspired me to do a racing theme for this track.
All instruments except drums come from the DX100 with effects from the Korg Kaoss Pad Mini 2S. Drums and layered instrument loops come from the Korg Kaossilator Pro+

Midnight Caravan

This time our journey takes us to an imaginary early 1990's action movie. It's late night, but there's still business to do. Soundscape is created with a Korg Electribe 2, a Korg Volca FM, a Yamaha Reface DX and a Roland Sound Canvas SC-55. Melody and backing track pretty much composed on the fly and recorded on the first take on a Zoom H1N.

Aged acid funk!

Played on a Novation Circuit, Roland TB-3 and Korg Microsampler. Mixed on an old Yamaha MA-10 headphone amp (go figure) and recorded on a Zoom H1n via Alesis Nanocompressor.

Roland 606 drum samples were used on the Circuit and Korg M1 Piano samples on the Microsampler.
