The Battle of Falkirk (22 Jul 1298) came up on my calendar a few weeks ago and I was inspired to create this. Whilst not Scottish by birth, I have served with a Scottish regiment and feel a strong kinship to them. The William Wallace monument (pictured) commemorates the Battle of Sterling 1297, which the Scots won. The 2 pipers (standard and uilleann)play from either side of the battle field, a fiddle bridge gives them a break then both pipers together play out the finale. Orchestral fills by Spitfire Labs and Vital.

Ghosts of Falkirk

The Pillars of Creation is a Steve Roach inspired ambient piece depicting the vastness of space and the energy to create new stars. The Pillars, in the Eagle Nebula, are roughly 7,000 light-years away so we will see them being destroyed by a supernova in about a 1000 years time  Mostly done in Pigments with sample assistance from Noizz, FX include Eventide Blackhole (obviously) and Valhalla Supermassive (ditto).

Moog Grandmother through 2 series instances of ValhallaSupermassive, running the Triangulum mode. The first Supermassive is providing a long reverb, while the second is being used for a 4 bar looper.
