rBapho is a two-piece band, formed back in April 2019 based in INDIA NEW DELHI. Talking about the genre, the band falls into the category of old school death metal and also with the slight influence of war metal with roots from TIBETAN culture.


Bands like MORBID ANGEL, BLOOD INCANTATION, DEMILICH, ENTOMBED has been a huge inspiration to the band's music.


The lyrical theme of the band is solely based on Cosmos and Spiritualism.
The band focuses on the aura of cosmos and its endless possibilities like how it started, what might beyond human understanding and all those COSMIC PHENOMENA.


The ARTWORK represents the central deity VAIROCANA of the SUMDHA CHUN MONASTERY (a small village located in LEH LADAKH of the Himalayan region). The altar niche contains a shrine composed of 37 polychrome stucco sculptures VAIROCANA, is considered the most significant decorative feature.
In Tibetan Buddhism, the deity VAIROCANA is termed as a celestial Buddha and it is the first thing that human souls encounter when it reaches the astral space after death.


This demo consists of 4 tracks, Three of which are original compositions and one is a cover song.

rBapho and Langdarma is a two-piece old school death metal and death-doom band, based in Leh Ladakh (India) which locates in the remote part of the Himalayas. Langdarma is their 2nd project (formed this year) with the same members, musically it's a blend between death and doom metal. Both projects have influences from Tibetan Culture and lyrically it focusses on Philosophy, Cosmos, and belief in Spiritual power.
