For our anniversary mix, #50, we have a lined up a very special one. A live recording from Omformer's live-set under the midnight sun at the mini-festival 'Out of Space' we hosted last year at Træna. A desolate island far north in Norway, five hours away from mainland. The coverpicture is taken from this liveset.

The 1 hour performance really showcases Omformers unique, driving, psychedelic and emotional sound. With this raw live-recording, you truly can feel and hear the live elements.

Space Trance

Both based in Barcelona, DJs and producers @aeryeen and @immateriae crossed paths a few years back, and decided to collaborate on the spot. Both producing for years, each with a very different musical background - one focused on electronic music and the other on black metal and dark ambient - they nevertheless already shared a deep love for trance since their youth. They quickly found out that they complemented each other very well during the production process, and their collaboration finally gave rise to the @inttn project and the @sextosentido909 label.

The duo found its passion in conjuring pure psychedelic emotion from the farthest reaches of space, and brings the dancefloors to a hypnotic state of elevated consciousness through euphoric sounds and energetic beats. With their tracks played by renowned DJs such as KI/KI (slash) and Philipp Drube (Space Trax), they have already made their mark among the rising stars of the trance scene!

Get ready for a mix entirely made of their own music! 📀📀📀

Podcast AÜRA #002 - Intuition

Hungarian-born and Eindhoven-based, DJ but also event planner, @ms-take-794581188 ’s creative influences for this third podcast comes from the enchanting Scandinavian trance scene and the energetic psytrance and techno culture of Australia. As her musical project is a testament to her various influences, she crafts captivating cosmic narratives in her mixes, combining high BPM tracks with ethereal elements, taking her audience to otherworldly realms.

Ms.Take is the organizer of local parties and podcast series @rave-index-681541537, which aims for artistic liberation and highlighting the various sub-genres of underground dance music with a focus on the emotional connection between the music and the listener. 

She has already proven herself to be a leading figure in her local music scene, pushing boundaries and redefining what it means to be a part of this vibrant community! 📀📀📀

"clarity of thought" 

-When we have clarity of thoughts, it means that we have a clear and focused understanding of our emotions, experiences, and the world around us.-

For me, music is always connected to emotions and helps me a lot to understand them. That's why I'm now launching the “Clarity of Thoughts” project, where I reproduce various feelings and experiences in the form of mixtapes.

Putting together these mixes helps me a lot in dealing with my emotions and achieving clarity of thought. Even though this is a very personal project, I decided to share it with you. Perhaps it will resonate with someone out there, offering comfort and understanding, or simply bring joy to those who appreciate new Trance sets.

01-volatility / clarity of thought

Veryl East is a DJ based in Zurich, Switzerland. He plays fast but subtle trance, drawing inspiration from the contemporary Scandinavian scene and past Parisian nights alike. He is a prolific mixer and has previously recorded podcasts for HRA Berlin, Harmless Records (Dublin), AÜRA (Paris), Kapitel Bollwerk (Bern) and more. He also curates a mix series himself, together with a collective in Zurich.
