So one foggy evening I decided to slow down and put some effects on the original "Will You Ever Hear This?" track and a couple minutes later this thing came into existence. I've thought it's pretty cool but didn't really took it too serious but then my dad said that it's better than the original and that I should put it out there. So there it is, even more depressing and sadder version of an already depressing and sad song for you to indulge yourself in. Cheers.

This song has a very strong nostalgic feeling to it, or at least that's how I see it. Like reminiscing all the things and people that used to be present once in our life. It's quite a sad feeling, tearing at times, but a very human one. 

As I was listening to this track I thought "What sentence describes best the feeling this song evokes in me?" and the answer came surprisingly quickly and felt very natural. For some reason I immediately knew it has to be the title of this song. I present to you... "Life Is Short". 
...may we find what we're looking for while the blood still flows.

Originally, this track was supposed to have vocals in it but after I wrote the lyrics and tried to sing them I realized the song is way too high for my voice... I might try to pitch it down and record vocals over it in the future and if it works well (cause you never know... you know?), I'll release it. Cheers.

"These Long Lone December Nights" is about... you guessed it... long lone December nights. And sadness. And longing. It's about solitude and that melancholic feeling I get when I engage in my favourite pass time activity which is dancing between memories of what was and fantasies of what could be, best accompanied by staring into a night sky as it's hard to match the comfort of the blanket of darkness. So soothing, inviting... consuming. A dangerous activity for the lost. Like playing with fire you can't see, only feel as it engulfs you from within. Breathe in to spread it around, breathe out to let the ashes out. But it's a fire of a different kind. A fire that wasn't born from light. A cold, vicious one. Let it be a lesson that it's not only the light that can blind the eye. Yes, this song is a goodbye... so... goodbye.

These Long Lone December Nights

No explanation is needed for this goofy song... cause it quite literally explains itself! So what can I say? Well, it sure was the most fun I had while making a song! Something happy, for once... a far cry from the usual "cut veins" kind of music I make. Will it stay that way, though? Time will tell...

I can't not mention guest vocals by non-existent girl, which undoubtedly were the highlight of this track. The song without these would feel uncompleted and ultimately just wouldn't be as pleasant to listen to. Thanks Christi :)
