Dismayed at sister’s and brothers response to the pandemic, I slipped in to doubt of my faith. This song is an unedited response from my soul early in the crisis when the battle was fierce in my town regarding human rights to choose to mask or not to mask.  This work is imperfect, Unfinished, crisp and new born .. but in the making. Today, preparing to post. I was looking for a picture for this song, when I found My Jesus there in my garage cluttered right where I put Him. Here in the clutter and judgment of my mind as I isolate myself, while still knowing He is within my reach. For in Him there is peace, grace and empathy even when humans discourage and disappoint me. Even when I disappoint them. Thankful for my savior today..

“Earth Day” was always loaded with the “MommaWhy” questions. It became a tradition to get out into nature for us that day and many times this included picking up the trash left behind by others. The trash was only a glimpse into the troubles to come for our planet, which we must care for to ensure our children’s children have the same quality life we come accustom to enjoying. Although that may not be possible at this late stage, as we need to make sacrifices to alter the damage we have caused to our ozone layer immediately. I’m doubtful we are willing or able to accomplish this with our current way of life, In my opinion.

But the real enemy is not time and age but the alcohol that filled the void she has left in her absence in the life of her lover and husband. We celebrated thrity years this years so all is not lost. Love Will Abide - Cover IPhone

I tried, but I can not deny the music in me. I try to escape it, to ignore it, to hold it, but it desires to be shared. So here is a small tidbit of it. Stacks of unfinished lyric & melody notes await me. the raw unfiltered years of love &pain etched on paper reminding me of a life well lived & a love well tested. In the end love prevails. The children grown I can now recapture those memories holding on to my love even in rough waters.  Here's to Love. Love that shapes us. Love that makes us! :)
