Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, six years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

SNB011 is delivered by Ackroyd, a producer who dabbles in many styles of Drum & Bass, have it dark, liquid or jungle; it will always have something a little bit different to offer. Taking influence from artists under Dispatch, Metalheadz and Exit Records, Ackroyd’s current and future productions will be something to keep an eye and ear out for. Having made appearances in Sheffield, directly supporting the likes of Skeptical, DRS and Ivy Lab, the energy and weight of his DJ sets equally aren’t something to miss. These dark and minimal sounds bring a refreshing but gritty twist to the norm, and this is just the beginning! Watch out for this name.
