I wrote this two-part piece as my final for BUTI's Electroacoustic Composition workshop. Part 1 (From the Window) uses the sounds of breath and MIDI drums to create a dark ambient texture. Part 2 (Soloing Nightmares) uses only sounds derived from a recording of rusty chains falling on the floor of a stage. Both parts are meant to immerse you in oppressive darkness. You have been warned.

Also, little side note, but this piece was originally written for a 5.1 surround sound system. Now, it's obviously been reduced to stereo, but ideally you would hear this blasting out all around you.

A brief orchestra piece I wrote as an experiment with motivic fragmentation. The chaos in the beginning suddenly makes sense when the triumphant flowing horn melody emerges as the climax.
This will sound so much cooler if and when I get a real orchestra to play it for me.
