Drumsound & Bassline Smith don't ever take the easy route. Despite balancing a heavy DJ schedule, running their label Technique Recordings, and the recent release their third album ‘Wardance’, they now present a new powerful four track EP, ‘Kilimanjaro’. 

On ‘Dubplate’ we see trio’s most explicit influences, with the intro channelling the euphoric ‘90s classic which uplifted many a dancefloor. The drop then brings it make to the present day, and will surely be responsible for countless rewinds.

The 28th release on MAC2 is a very important one, electronic music legend DJ Randall releases his first solo EP and rightly so, it lands on his own label- MAC2.

You cannot underestimate Randall's contribution to the development and indeed maintenance of UK electronic music from 1988 to the present day. This is a man whose DJing prowess separated him so far from the pack that a young Andy C would watch him religiously weekend in, weekend out and took Randall's 'double-impact' DJ style and would run with it. The rest is, of course, history. Randall quickly became a trusted DJ by some of the most important brands in electronic music, from pioneers like Reinforced to genre-leading lights such as Metalheadz, however, this is only half the story.

Fast fwd to 2020 and Randall has once again become a household name, he has now become a new generations favourite artist and his relentless (pre-COVID) touring schedule goes to prove that. In 2019 he debuted the Watch The Ride project alongside DJ Die and Dismantle, instantly having huge success with the debut single 'Original Format' with D Double E. All of the above brings us to 'Time 4 Da Switch EP', DJ Randall's debut 5 tracker.
