Thomas Klaps, professionally known as 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬, is a Belgian DJ and techno producer hailing from 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐮𝐦, and currently residing in 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧. His passion for electronic music ignited at the age of eight when his father gifted him a record player, marking the beginning of his musical journey.

Over the years, Klaps has established himself in the electronic music scene with 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and 𝐝𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐉 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬, performing at renowned festivals such as 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐮𝐤𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐨𝐩, where he delivered a memorable performance in the 𝐁𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦. He has released music also on 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝, and launched his own label, 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐈𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞.
His music has garnered support from industry leaders like 𝐏𝐚𝐧-𝐏𝐨𝐭, 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞, 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐠𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞.

Through his dedication to his craft, with this release on 𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐀, he's marking his 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from a harder, more driving sound to a 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐯𝐞-𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡. Emerging from the rugged west of Australia, specifically Perth/Boorloo, Cow releases his debut EP "Screen Time" on Berlin-based label Concrete. As a fresh newcomer, he brings a distinct vision of groove-driven techno – analog, rhythmic, and powerful.

The four tracks on "Screen Time" are deeply rooted in tribal sonics – defined by driving percussion, stripped-back structures, and a dense, tool-oriented foundation. Cow’s sound unfolds through hypnotic tension, building slowly, allowing space, and drawing its energy from repetition and clarity.

"Screen Time" is functional techno with a strong focus on groove – raw, direct, and in constant motion.
