After going back and forth to the studio cooking up. Writing every rhyme, afraid to make a wack song, this was the first track I said fuck it.... punch 1st verse, punch chorus, punch 2nd verse and punch the ad libs and raw reaction; then kick back and listen to how it all came together. In my mind, this was my "Wayne Moment" when he rapped all his written raps and then just started freestyling right before he did The Carter Albums.... This was when I started to freestyle most of the time. I soon got comfortable with it to now I can write if I want to or I can go into a 1 & 1/2 or 2, maybe a 3 hour session and crank out 3 full tracks. This was my "wayne moment." I haven't looked back since then. More music on the way once life slows down with "lifing." Peace.

Resurrection (Mixtape Wayne Series)

A few weeks ago in Chicago on the south side over in the south shore neighborhood, a mother of 6 was in an altercation with her ex boyfriend, they got into a fight in the juke joint, one thing led to another and the mother was shot by one of the women her ex boyfriend was with. Tragic story, but real story. A cautionary tale. Modern day blues, which is a music genre that was popularized and promoted because of its spiritual nature. This song was recorded well before this move debuted, but with music, sonic riffs and spiritual influences, it seems right to display this cautionary tale along with the music that fba have crafted in their souls. Whether it is popular or sales or not is not the intention, it is to bring awareness, and not to exploit. Prayers to the family and the six kids that will have to navigate life without their mother. I was 15 without mines. Estranged, but still I had to learn how to fend for myself as a kid in these streets. Again prayers up.

I’m Blew (Modern Blues)

A hustler, a lyricist, a family man, a career educator, putting game in the lyrics, not just rapping; HIPHOP ain’t dead. It’s very much alive. Still can freestyle over a modern beat and sing. The roots from Chicago taught all the life skills needed to have many musical styles, within the music. The goal, make dope music that can chart in every era of this art form we call Hiphop, and the business of 2020 rap.
