I wrote this track about the fragility of life and how unfair it can be, that is can be suddenly taken away from us. I was inspired by news about the death of Christina Grimmie, a singer who was murdered at her own concert as well, as other inhumane shootings. The meaning of my lyrics are that death is inevitable & preventable but in some ways really is. I hoped to question gun laws around the world. I choose to use a simple piano track and reverb sound effects throughout the track to help create an atmospheric sound.
