Ricardo Villalobos was born in Santiago in 1970 to a Chilean father and a German mother. His family went into exile in Germany in 1973 following Pinochet's coup d'état.[2] Raised in a music-loving family, he began playing congas and bongos at the age of ten.[3] During his adolescence, he was influenced by Depeche Mode, who introduced him to electronic music. This influence was further enhanced by that of Daniel Miller, Daniel Bell, Andrew Weatherall, and, from the 1990s onward, Richie Hawtin.[4] The South American rhythms that surrounded his childhood are also a significant source of inspiration for his music.

Beginnings edit
It was in the early 1990s that he became enthusiastic about the acid house movement and became an amateur DJ while still pursuing university studies. In 1993, he released his first album on Placid Flavour, a label that remained confidential. Success and professionalism would only come gradually. In 1995, in Frankfurt, he was a resident DJ at the club "Box", and later at "Omen", a club run by Sven Vath[5]. From 1998, he devoted himself fully to his musical production and released a series of releases on renowned independent labels such as Playhouse and Perlon.

With the next Toi Toi takeover for Room Three just a few sleeps away, today we're feeling privileged to be able to present a new and exclusive mix from a key member of the crew, Audio Werner.

This is a bit of a coup for us; the promo mix we're presenting today from Werner is a very rare thing indeed. To date the Hartchef Discos founder has only has only released two other podcasts on the spindled servers of the interweb over the last five years so, for us at least, this 60 minute selection carries an extra bit of weight of significance. Perhaps best known for his live sets over recent years (a craft that he is pretty advanced at as evident in his <a href="http://www.fabriclondon.com/blog/view/toi-toi-takeover-audio-werners-equipment-guide" target="_blank">equipment guide</a> from 2013), Audio Werner has actually been very much a prolific record collector and DJ since the ‘90s wielding a historical knowledge of four four cuts that he calls upon each time he takes to the decks. 

Right from the opening track this mix provides a listening experience that is at once engaging and yet frenetically playful. It's a pretty exciting pre-cursor to show exactly the kind of dancefloor experience Werner will be bringing alongside his Toi Toi cohorts Voigtmann, Lamache and Andrew J Gustav this coming weekend...

Made In TLV and Møsard are the latest hot-to-the-touch producers to sign to Green Room Records, bringing with them hypnotic and grooving new single ‘Pressure’ for their label debut. 

Liraz Levinson, otherwise known as Made in TLV, is a rising star DJ and producer on a committed path to bringing his sensual sounding array of deep and organic house to the masses. Although still in the infancy of his career, the future star has already signed to imprints Keinemusik, Blue Shadow and Disco Halal. Soon taking musical matters into his own hands, Made in TLV launched his own label Powder Music, to host his on releases and create a community portal for artists in the same lane. 

Collaborator, Møsard hails from Turkey and is an even fresher addition to the scene, having only launched his artist project in the last twelve months. His passion for electronic music however, casts back over a decade to his teens, studying at Istanbul Sonar House. The Møsard sound is contemporary, melodic and feverishly catchy. You’ll want to play on repeat!
‘Pressure’ takes listeners on a deep exploration of far into the realms of rhythmic house. The two young-gun producers flex their respective studio skills lacing organic percussion into the foreground and penetrating the soundscape with dark deep tech rhythms that make you want to get up and dance. Cutting in even deeper on the temporal lobe with a classic house vocal sample that floods feelings of rose-tinted nostalgia yet remains clear-cut for today’s modern club rooms.
