Candi Staton has created so many special moments for people with this vocal. It's a testament  to human solidarity and should be at the fabric of every person on this planet. 

Florence did an amazing version of this but the original still has an organic and special place in many hearts. 

I haven’t gone crazy on this one. I wanted it to be a simple funky house affair that puts the vocal and delivery front and centre with the bass doing the majority of the heavy lifting.

Went through all my tracks and picked out 6 that work together for a nice short mix. Though I write much more than just dance music, this is just one example of the kind of production and methods I tend towards. This mini-mix is designed to sound like a forgotten classic US Hardhouse set, so even though the tracks are 100% original, they still sound instantly familiar. Sorry, but no experimental/leftfield/IDM for now. At least... not today. See some of the other tracks for that, and there will be some 130+ bpm short sets coming soon.

"Selected Works Vol. 1" is a small collection of underground Club House/US Hard House tracks. 303's, 808's, 909's, and other XOX boxes live here because they're supposed to. All of them doing the things you know and love. It's sequenced to the nines and repetitive because it's supposed to be. It's dance music, and this is what it sounds like.

These are samples from everywhere, loaded into the Akai, and played live. I will tell you more and make a video recording for Vol 2.

If you want something else, there are plenty of other artist to check out, and discovering of new music is what it's all about!
