We are delighted to bring you this sensational and inspiring flow session from one of the Dreamer Rebels himself: Elias Doré (@elias-dore) explored many facets of music by performing in various bands and genres, from Afro-Funk in Dakar, Klezmer and Gipsy in London to Reggae and Soul in Berlin, before fully immersing himself in electronic music. What has stayed with him over time is his love for melodic warmth and organic sounds. Not confined by tempo or genre boundaries, Elias always takes his time to create a context and narrative around his music. With melodic elements at the heart of his sets, he creates an uplifting atmosphere that aims to both inspire and touch the feelings of his audience.

FLOW: In one of your recently released tracks (Asura, produced with Acado) there is a beautiful hang drum / handpan featured. Did you play that part? And how long have you been playing?

ELIAS: Thank you - yes, I played it. I've been playing on & off for a few years now.. was probably quite good at some point, but then again let it slide for a while, so nowadays I feel a bit like a beginner sometimes :)

FLOW: Have you been to Australia before? And what are your impressions of the Australian scene, and gatherings like Rainbow Serpent or Subsonic Festival?

ELIAS: Yes, I went to Australia in 2011/12 and had some encounters with electronic music there. I was at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2012 and absolutely loved it. The overwhelmingly positive vibe and incredibly warm atmosphere and attitude of the people there and in Melbourne really touched me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hadn't been that much into electronic music before that in Berlin, but after my time in Oz, I directly got into the scene once I got back and have not left since.

FLOW: Many people seem to have taken up some kind of home renovation or cooking project since we entered the 'Coronaverse', so what have you managed to hammer, nail, grow or bake in the last few months?

ELIAS: Ha ha, it's true! Everyone's been on that sourdough or renovation project. I painted a wall and pimped my balcony to very green and lush extremes, but my main project over the past months has probably been to work very heavily on my voice and practice singing. It has given me a lot of energy and joy in what were sometimes quite dark days in the lockdown.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

Working his way through different parts of the electronic music scene in Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig, for a long time H.Haller was looking for the right idea to settle for. Several years ago he experienced the enchanting pull of the mystical nights and days at electronic music festivals. What has most shook his consciousness was this new, loving encounter of community, which is resembled by those playful nights, when strangers meet under the shivering roofs of trees and stars. 

Reenacting these experiences of togetherness in the uniting strength of deep rhythms and heavy percussions is what describes H.Haller's sounds most precisely. In his versatile sets, he’s combining genres from slowed down Melodic House, Dark Disco, Deep House, always ready for a change - this is when the nasty beats and breaks of Future/Bass house come surprisingly in.

A true coastal boy, who loves and lives the cool breeze of the Baltic Sea, has conspired with music since his childhood. Early he became acquainted with the use of instruments and developed a dedication for the musical happenings. With the first visits to Schützenhouse Marlow in 2009, he turned to electronic music. He quickly bought his first equipment to practice and develop his Skills.
Names such as Oliver Koletzki, Oliver Huntemann, Solomun, and Carlo Ruetz were the hallmarks of his modern technoid influences, which can be heard in his sets. Pressureful basses and dreamy melodies characterize his style, which should take the listener on a journey of the senses.

Gardening, cooking, eating, drinking German bear and spending time with his family and beloveds. Pretty much the favorite activities chosen by Edu.Buschool, based on Karksruhe, South Germany. Beside DJing, Edu is also one of the curators responsible for assembling, cataloguing and managing the German label Kollektiv.Liebe, where music is unconditional Love. 

This 187th edition was recorded 6 weeks ago in the comfort of his home, when Edu's family made vacations without him. The inspiration primarily came from the intro track by Lando Langsam which his planned to use for six months, mainly because it evokes an impressive speech by Greta Thunberg, so the mix chases to keep this intensity and carries the message of humanity, responsibility and love to the nature and our planet — key aspect to consciously tune those days.

We're extremely happy to welcome Tel Aviv DJ pioneer Sahar Z to our team for his mellow interpretation of this delicious sip. Sahar uses a balanced mix of groovy percussion beats, not too uplifting, and freshly squeezed deep vibes.

Over the last decade Sahar Z has emerged as one Israel’s finest DJ and production talents. (His prodigious skills led to Deep Dish saying that Sahar ‘is the best kept secret of the Middle East’). 
Alongside being a resident at Haoman 17 (one of the biggest and most prestigious clubs in Israel), the Tel Aviv-based DJ is also a long time veteran of the global techno and house scenes. Not limited by any genre or style, Sahar Z’s influences come from a variety of directions: deep melodic sounds and fresh electronica to the harder yet soulful techno edges. Rofdcast 29 - Döppel Mind

This mix holds a very special place in my heart as it was recorded during a difficult time in many people's lives. It is an expression of love, strength and unity.

It includes one of my latest releases “Sermer” — a collaboration with my brother Hrag Mikkel featuring Heibert on vocals. The track is part of “Intertwined” — a compilation released by Hoomidaas Records to raise humanitarian funds for Armenia. The set includes more tracks from the album by Armen Miran, Davi, Goldcap, Hraach, Pambouk & Teom.

My Fatherland, Armenia, just went through an invasion that resulted in tremendous loss of life, land, and cultural heritage dating back to 2000 B.C. May these sounds bring hope to my brothers and sisters during these difficult times and raise awareness about Armenia’s rich culture.
