I am Octavio is an electronic dance composition. It features what appears to be rapping, possibly by an Octarian that could be Octavio himself, along with various record scratches. It includes a chorus singing part of the Onward! jingle that plays at the end of every Hero Mode level, which is also interpolated in Eight-Legged Advance and later, Octavio's remix of Bomb Rush Blush. 

I am Octavio

Tidal Rush is an electronic remix of both of the Squid Sisters' solo songs, adding Tide Goes Out to DJ Octavio's remix of Bomb Rush Blush. Therefore, it has very similar production to the Bomb Rush Blush remix. It begins with Marie singing the chorus of Tide Goes Out over an orchestral violin intro. She then continues to sing the chorus, but faster and in a higher key to fit with the Bomb Rush Blush remix which fades in, before eventually, both cousins sing the chorus of their respective songs simultaneously. After an instrumental break, the two alternate lines from their respective songs before both of them simultaneously sing again. Finally, Callie sings her section on her own before the track loops. 

Tidal Rush

A new version of the song was composed for use in Splatoon 2, where it is credited as a DJ Octavio song, with Callie as a featured artist. Production-wise, it is almost completely different, functioning more as an original song with samples from Bomb Rush Blush. It starts off with a modified intro before transitioning to a brand-new electronic dubstep composition. It also interpolates the melody from the Onward! jingle heard after beating a mission, which was also interpolated in I Am Octavio. Near the middle of the song, scratched records can be heard, to represent the sound of Octavio's wasabi stalks scratching against the vinyl records. 

Bomb Rush Blush (feat. Callie)

This version is a very stripped-back version of the track, with an alarm-like effect continuously playing to signify the urgency and danger of the event, as it plays once octavio fires a large missile which needs to be volleyed back at him. once the player either hits octavio three times or fails, the song changes again to the normal version, or the "phase 1" version if at phase 1. 

I am Octavio (Missile)

DJ Octavio is the leader of the Octarians, the main antagonist, and final boss of both Splatoon and Splatoon 2's single-player modes. In the latter, he appears alongside Callie in the final boss, whom he has brainwashed, and is trapped in a snow globe-like tank near Cap'n Cuttlefish or Marie after being defeated for the first time.
