This LP recording is from the Graduation Recital of CARMENCITA LLANES GUANZON (Live 1958) at St.Paul College Manila Conservatory of Music's Fleur-de-Lis Hall.
Carmencita's College Piano Mentor was Sister Marie Vincent Llamzon, SPC (who was a pupil of world-renowned Franch Pianist and Pedagogue - Alfred Cortot).

Philippine pianist - Carmencita G. Arambulo (born 1938) received her Bachelor of Music, majoring in Piano and minoring in Voice (Magna Cum Laude) from St. Paul College, Manila in 1958 and her Masters in Music finishing Outstanding Graduate of the Year (Highest Distinction) majoring in Piano and minoring in Theory and Pedagogy from New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Massachusetts in 1961. Up to present (2022), she has been actively teaching for 60 years - training a total of 308 Suzuki piano teachers internationally and having taught 372 students in piano, Electone, and theory. Some of her renowned students include: Rowena Arrieta, Louie Ocampo, Oliver Salonga, Marites Salientes, Carolyn Kleiner, Allier Manahan, and Fr. Manoling Francisco SJ. and Philippine National Artist for Music: Ryan Cayabyab.

All her students fondly call her "Mrs. A."

Carmencita is the very first Filipino Suzuki Music Method specialist, having received her training at the American Suzuki Institute at the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point under Dr. Haruko Kataoka of Matsumoto, Japan.

Carmencita is the founder of the Philippine Suzuki Association (PSA), and is currently President Emeritus. She was chairperson (2017-2019) of PSA and was President of Asia Region Suzuki Association (ARSA) and is still chief Piano Teacher Trainor of the ARSA. She has been guest faculty in several Suzuki conferences in USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, Japan, China, and the Philippines. She is also a member of the Suzuki International Piano Committee. Arambulo is the founder and directress of the Greenhills Music Studio (est. 1968) and the Children's Talent Education Center (est. 1984), the only Suzuki preschool in the country. For 31 years, she was faculty member of the University of the Philippines College of Music and the Philippine High School for the Arts. Currently, she still teaches piano at the Greenhills Music Studio. Arambulo is an active member of the Piano Teachers' Guild of the Philippines Foundation Inc. (PTGPFI) and has been teacher of many local, national, and international piano competition winners. She has received several recognitions for her commitment to the nurturing and development of musical talent, and her pioneering efforts in the Suzuki Music Method in the Philippines.

Mrs.A is married to Atty. Cesar T. Arambulo. She and her husband are active members of Couples for Christ (CFC) Catholic community.

IMMACULATE MOTHER VARIATIONS was Composed by Ariel Arambulo (Antonio Gabriel G. Arambulo) in 2002 for the CD album MARIAN MATINS produced by Jesuit Communications, Philippines. It became the Finale to that album. This recording is the "Live" PIANO QUINTET version from ARIEL's Solo Composition Concert titled, MUSIC FOR CHRIST on Dec.30, 2006 (Feast of the Holy Family) at the Francisco Santiago Hall, Makati City Philippines by the GMS (Greenhills Music Studio) Ensemble: ARIEL performs on first violin, while his students - Andie Reyes performs on second violin and JJ (John Jerry) Ginon performs on viola. Herrick Ortiz performs on cello, & Ariel's wife - Gigi (Maria Virginia G. Arambulo)performs on the piano. MUSIC FOR CHRIST 2006 was for the benefit of ANG ARKO NG PILIPINAS (L'Arche Philippines), an NGO which cares for abandoned people with mental disabilities. That same year on GOOD FRIDAY 2006, Ariel and his students Andie & JJ, with Chloe Canton-Rice on piano performed the Piano Quartet version of IMMACULATE VARIATIONS in Turin, Italy (Oratorio di SAN FILIPPO NERI).

The Peace Philharmonic Philippines (PPP) also gave the Visayas premiere of the Orchestral version with pipe organ in the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHEDRAL in Cebu City, Philippines in 2005. The Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) gave the Luzon premiere of the orchestral version with piano in Makati City. It was also performed by the PREDIS Orchestra at the 2013 MUSIC FOR CHRIST FESTIVAL on Dec.12, 2013 (Feast of MARY, Our Lady of Guadalupe) for the benefit of the victims of the 2013 Typhoon Haiyan through Philippine Red Cross and for the construction of the Casa Marello - Home for the Aged Priests of the Oblates of St.Joseph, held in Santuario de San Jose Church, Greenhills East, Mandaluyong City - the concert garnered a standing ovation.

"MUSIC IS TWICE PRAYING" said St.Augustine.  Prayer need not be rehearsed. With vocals chanted by the composer and performed unrehearsed by the GMS Suzuki Violin Ensemble with the composer on the piano, "AVE MARIA (on my knees)" was Composed by Antonio Gabriel "Ariel" G. Arambulo (b.1970) as a Christian response to the July 14, 2016 terrorist attacks on the City of Nice, France where Families: men, women and children were killed. Ariel Dedicates this piece to the Victims of the Nice Attacks, as well as to Fr.Jacques Hamel, French priest who was brutally murdered on his knees on July 26, 2016 also by terrorists in Saint-Étienne Church. "AVE MARIA (on my knees)" is also Dedicated to the Victims of the 1794 French Genocide - mostly clergy, women and children (150,000 massacred) perpetrated by the atheistic French Revolution on it's own people. "AVE MARIA (on my knees)"  is finally Dedicated to All Victims of Injustice, including the Martial Law Victims during the Marcos Dictatorship, and today's victims of extra-judicial killings in the Philippines and most of all, it is Dedicated to MAMA MARY whose heart was pierced, and to JESUS CHRIST, The Supreme Victim sacrificed to GOD Our Father for the Salvation of All Mankind.

The instrumentalists: GMS Suzuki Violn Ensemble 2016 comprised of Ariel's violin students: Karl Kopio, Moselle Cu, Sebastian Chenglay and Liam Lustria with Ariel Arambulo on piano on Nov.26, 2016.

GMS (Greenhills Music Studio) was founded in 1968 by Prof. Carmencita G. Arambulo (Ariel's mother). She also founded the Philippine Suzuki Association & holds its headquarters in GMS. Suzuki Method was founded by Catholic Japanese violinist, Dr. Shinichi Joseph Suzuki (1898-1998).

HALLELUJAH CONCERTO (2010) was Composed by Philippine Composer, Ariel Arambulo (born June 12, 1970) for his mother - Prof. Carmencita Guanzon-Arambulo, or MRS.A (as everyone fondly calls her) in honor of her achievements in Music and Music Education. The piece is Dedicated to her. 
HALLELUJAH CONCERTO's music bears the initials of MRS.A - the musical notes CGA which, added with a G is the Hallelujah motif of Handel.  The concerto treats the CGA and Hallelujah motifs in different compositional styles. The Scary Segment depicts the prophesied 3 DAYS OF DARKNESS (The Day of Wrath of GOD) that will exterminate all evildoers. The following CLIMACTIC episode is The TRIUMPH of THE WHITE ARMY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS and IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY headed on earth by the prophesied GREAT KING OF FRANCE and after, ENOCH and ELIJAH with ST.MICHAEL slaying the antichrist, saving the CHURCH MILITANT (God's Kingdom on Earth) and finally resolves with JESUS' SECOND COMING and the piece accelerates to end swiftly with THE GREAT AMEN!

The WORLD PREMIERE of HALLELUJAH CONCERTO was given on August 1, 2010 at Fleur de lis Hall, Manila during the Tribute Concert - MRS.A's OPUS celebrating 50 years of her distinguished career as a piano pedagogue. (Aug.1, 2010 is also the 1st Death Anniversary of former Philippine president and hero, Corazon "Cory" Aquino who was honored also). HALLELUJAH CONCERTO is for Piano soloist and was premiered by Mrs.A's prize-winning piano student, Rowena Arrieta, who is the only Filipino Laureate winner at the Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow, Russia (she won at age 18). The soloist is accompanied by a Second piano with 2 pianists (Therese Gemora-Girn and Jonathan Coo) and the PSA-GMS (Philippine Suzuki Association-Greenhills Music Studio) Orchestra, Conducted by the Composer - Ariel Arambulo. HALLELUJAH CONCERTO was also performed in Santuario de San Jose church for the Hidden JESUS in The Holy Tabernacle in 2014 with Ariel conducting the Philippine Suzuki Association (PSA) Teachers Orchestra tutti with Florida-based pianist Chance Israel as soloist and Maria Virginia G. Arambulo and Therese Gemora-Girn on second piano tutti.
