This remix (March 20024) removes the rim shot (which was driving me nuts) and adds a new drum section.  
The nspiration is Ann Leckie's award winning "Ancillary Justice"  epic, written back in 2014. How did I miss it? 
This is  the first track on a mini-album and is meant to reflect the overall theme: the hyper rational determination of the central character (Breq) to deliver justice against an empire bent on brutal annexations.  Hmmm.....
The cover art is from a limited edition of the book and is by Lauren Saint-Onge.

Filmy Ghost is an experimental, dark ambient, vapor witch music project from Rancagua, Chile. Created at the end of 2016 by 
Sábila Orbe.- 

This project is the side-project of his main act: Humanfobia.-  The big difference with Humanfobia, is that in Filmy Ghost the artist collaborate with other producers, singers, or public domain samples providers.

Occasionally also some Filmy Ghost tracks are included on Humanfobia discography.

新日本紀行(Shin-Nihon Kikou)

Method: Guitar. Voice. Hardware effects only. Lots of them.
Narration: Whereas 'dreischlaf' (see: just a few units of space below this one in my track list) was a lullaby, this is a soundscape focussing on the limbo on the opposite end of sleep, i.e. the phase when you wake up (kind of) before your really wake up. Accordingly, the poem is quite surreal. 
Notes : I  have added some kind of interlinear translation below the German original, although it won't help a lot in understanding what (mostly) merges on the other side. As usual, headphones are recommended for the unmitigated experience. If you only want to listen to a multivocal reading of the poem, start at 5:35.

of Boston.
On January 15, 1919
a large storage tank filled with tons of molasses
burst
and the resultant wave rushed through the streets
killing 21 and injuring 150.
The event entered the local folklore
and residents claimed for decades
afterwards
that the area still smelled 
of molasses
on hot summer days.
