The Energy Quan podcast is for clean energy-minded people who don't see a lot of people like themselves in the energy workplace. Cohosts Caroline Goodbody, Becky Gallagher, and Jessie Shoemaker recap recent energy news, interview people they admire in the cleantech/energy space, and torment their non-energy friends with acronyms. Conversation ranges from the investment tax credit to advice on how to find a good mentor in a competitive workplace. By centering female voices in a substantive energy podcast, the Quan hopes to illuminate opportunities for others who want to lend their talents to the field but may struggle to find their "fit" or opportunity for advancement in a predominantly male workplace. The Quan is about supporting each other for financial and emotional success while we all try to save our planet (it's a Jerry Maguire reference).
