Considered one of the legends of the house music world, his discography runs deep, first releasing his own tracks in the mid-1990s on iconic NYC deep house labels like Strictly Rhythm and Nervous Records – and he hasn’t missed a beat since. We caught up with Harry from his home studio, better known as The Butcher Shop, to talk more about his smooth and pumping house sound, what inspired his new release on Defected, his approach to sampling and edits, using SoundCloud as a DJ/producer and record label owner, and much more.
