During the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, I decided to do an impromptu interview with my partner, Kerry Blu, after he led a series of Instagram Live performances throughout the course of a day. Kerry is a rapper, songwriter, and the founder of the Empire State Music and Arts Festival, which seeks to broaden opportunities and connections for independent artists across genres. In this episode, we talk about how being in quarantine has affected independent artists, much of whom make their money off of performances, and Kerry lets us know his thoughts on how to pivot.
