Skin for a Canvas started life as an ambient acoustic
experience in the shape of Dani Burnett and Ian Mortimer. The
two started on separate paths, each of them in different well
known metal bands from the Portsmouth area, and in 2007,
their paths met and a strong musical partnership was formed.
After 4 years of writing and planning, Skin for a Canvas was
born and the debut album “The Soul Creates a Harmony” was
self-produced and released by the pair. In early October 2011
Dani Burnett chose to leave Skin for A Canvas but Ian
Mortimer decided to carry on with the project under the same
name as the album had received good responses during their
live performances and Skin for A Canvas was steadily gaining
reputation and experience along the way. During late 2011 the
second Skin for a Canvas album was mastered for release in
early 2012 to bring new music to Skin for a Canvas
performances

MaKk est originaire de « Dijon » (France) et a grandit avec une passion pour la musique électronique depuis le plus jeune âge. Membre du crew Noiz’1’Pakt depuis sa création en 2012, c’est avec ses amis et compères qu’il prépare et organise d’années en années des soirées orientées underground en mixant d’abord de la minimal puis petit à petit son style actuel qu’est la Drum & Bass.
Avec cette envie prédominante de créer ses propres tracks, c’est alors qu’à cette même époque qu’il se lance dans la composition et la production. 
Fort de l’expérience acquise depuis quelques années grâce à Pasta, son frère qui est également producteur, que ce style, la Drum & Bass, est celui sur lequel il a jeté son dévolu.

Atmo and Cypher are a pair of 18 year old producers from Canterbury, England. They have working mostly on drum and bass, as well as experimenting with other genres for almost 3 years whilst juggling school work.
