Formed in August 2017, A and the B's is a group of friends who like playing music in a Fall Creek basement (Ithaca, NY). They play a style of music at the frontier of Rock, Folk and Blues with influences as wide as Punk, country, Jazz and Spiritual, and with two Frenchies in the band, you’re guaranteed to get a good dose of toe tapping, hip shaking French rock as well. The band isn't looking to become the big dog in town, and prefer to just have a great time playing the music they love, every chance they get. They thrive on playing live, straight from the heart, giving it all out without chichi. Ask anyone in the band, and they’ll tell you the same thing: “the perfect gig stems from a deep connection with the crowd, creating harmony that goes beyond music itself. Through the music, we’re all guaranteed to be hip shaking, smiling, screaming and feelin' good by the end of the night. Music is a means as well as the goal. Music is life, music is love, and it’s music for the people”.
