Shadow Season is a band from New Jersey, USA active in the music scene from 1990 to Present. Originally formed by members of Punk Rock band "Fail-Safe" (Ken Flavell, Mike Arfuso, Chris Flavell) and Hardcore band "Turning Point" (Ken Flavell, Jay Laughlin) Shadow Season released their first "Self-Titled 7" EP" on vinyl in 1991. This release has a hardcore sound but with more melodic, emo influences than the members previous works in other bands. Shadow Season's 2nd & 3rd releases revealed a more post-hardcore, indie rock, emo sound. The 2nd release came in 1995 with a 4 song EP CD titled "Starshine" with new members (James Liberi, Scott Wood). The 3rd previously unreleased album recorded in 1996 named "Collision Course" sometimes referred to as "Divebomber" was shared and circulated around the internet but wasn't officially released until early 2021. Shadow Season is currently writing and plans to release new music in mid-late 2021.
