With an already impressive roster under their belts, the imprint is set to become a welcome home to the frontman’s breezy and lovable direction. Following on from the release of his highly-praised new EP ‘Ambitions’ at the end of last year and his subsequent follow-up cut ‘Oceans’ in recent months, Swedish alt-pop troubadour Summer Heart is back with new EP 'Insecurities', and a high profile remix from fellow Swede Oliver Nelson, who adds his laid back cocktail disco vibe to the single "Wash You Off" to create a perfect summer breeze.

Producer Oliver Nelson may be from Sweden and has released music and remixes on various power houses in the EDM world, but he’s far from the kind of bottle-servicey house music mafioso that those things might imply. He’s got a taste for vintage disco and a subtle sensibility that have helped him rework tracks by Tove Lo, Justin Timberlake, Marina and the Diamonds and even Whitney Houston into rubbery electronic funk that avoid the full-blast sensory overload that a lot of pop-oriented dance music falls into. He has also collaborated with the likes of Kygo, Todd Terry, Zayn, The Kooks and many more, delivering a wildly eclectic array of offerings throughout his career.
Summer Heart explains the meaning of 'Wash You Off':
“Wash You Off is about trying to get rid of a negative past and moving on to a new and hopefully exciting phase in life. Leaving bad habits and old patterns behind is definitely something I struggle with and it feels like I’m stuck from time to time. The only thing that works is just going out for a run, taking a long shower and literally wash the past off.”
