Carlos Eduardo Soares Brandão , é o nome por traz do projeto (CODEX), focado na produção continua do psychedelic Forest Dark, Carlos teve seu primeiro contato com o mundo da música aos seus 7 anos de idade, quando ganhou seu primeiro instrumento musical. Desde então se dedicou com grande paixão aos campos do conhecimento e da produção musical.

No início de sua adolescência, Carlos ingressou no curso de Teoria Musical, onde se dedicou e se formou,  desenvolvendo em grande escala suas habilidades musicais, alguns anos mais tarde teve seu primeiro contato com o PsyTrance através de seu primo. Ao se identificar com a vertentes noturnas da produção da música eletrônica, tendo como inspiração artistas como  Elowinz, Mubalí e DelTorto, viu a oportunidade de desenvolver seu próprio projeto de live noturno.

Logo em seus primeiros projetos recebeu o apóio de seus amigos que curtiram seus sons , e recentemente ganhou seu espaço na Gravadora da costa rica MeltedBrain records , (CODEX) promete trazer ao seu público, uma pista agitada e um som noturno sério e psicodélico, onde utiliza de todo seu conhecimento musical para desenvolver elementos novos e profundos para seu público.
