Delphi the Musical is by Rob Castell and Paul O'Mahony. The scene is Delphi, the home of Apollo's famous oracle. People travel from across the world to consult the god, and every four years even larger numbers arrive to enjoy the Pythian Games. Delphi the Musical tells the story of this meeting of mortals and immortals - where love, death and competition are ever present.

Delphi the Musical

Dawn: Apollo greets the new day, declaring his love for the people of Delphi. He introduces Panos, a young poet who works at the temple and is inspired by the many travellers he meets there.

Heart Of The World

The gods overhear the people of Delphi as they gather in the tavern to debate the nature of love. They're joined by some of the heroes who have travelled to participate in the Pythian Games

A Simple Symposium

Panos argues with the gods - he sings of the possibility for change, of humans taking control of their destiny, and of the inspiration he takes from the people who travel to Delphi from across the world

The Story Of How Things Could Be

Tecmessa confronts Hades, the god of the underworld. She wants to return to the land of the living but he can't understand why, given how she was treated when alive.
